Red Started started out making Bib-overalls in 1923. During WW2 Red Kap made uniforms for the American army. In 1964 Red Kap was bought by Blue Bell (Blue Bell started Wrangler). During the mid-80's Blue Bell was bought by VF Corp. Big Ben, a another Blue Bell company was shut down and Red Kap continues to produce their garments.
